Second Debut is a digital production company with a proven track record in the production of factual television series for Canadian networks (CBC, RDI, Artv, TVO, Discovery).

Digital Content Manager
Jean Ménard delivered his first hour-long 16mm documentary film on a Scotch UCA60 U-Matic tape to CBC/Radio-Canada in 1979. He went on to produce many hours of highly rated content at CBC The Journal, and later as an independent producer, earning a Gemini Award. His technical expertise bridges the analog / digital divide, an essential quality in his role as content manager. A digital marketing graduate from Cornell and an active member of the IASA (media archiving body), Jean oversees operations and advises clients on media asset management issues.

We also specialize in the conversion and archiving of legacy videotape assets, converting more than 200 hours of our own programming, and many more from independent producers in Quebec and Ontario.
